Andreas Franke, renowned Austrian
advertising photographer and avid diver explored and photographed the shipwreck
USS Vandenberg in 2010. This strange place with its mysterious emptiness was to
haunt his mind. To him the shipwreck, a place almost surrealistically alive,
appeard as a entirely unique stage.
Andreas Franke is a traveler. He travels
through the world and between the worlds. His job frequently leads him to
several countries on several continents. So does his passion the scuba
diving.
In his pictures Franke crosses the borderlines between fantasy and real life.
