Discovered by the late Isabella Blow, Style
Editor of Tatler, Philip Treacy has become the milliner of choice for the top
fashion designers and created hats for Alexander McQueen’s white haute couture
collection at Givenchy in Paris
and for Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel as well as Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Donna
Karen. He presented the first ever couture show dedicated to millinery at Paris
Fashion Week. Treacy has created hats for various films including the Harry
Potter franchise and designed for the likes of Grace Jones, Daphne Guinness,
Naomi Campbell, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga and Madonna. Over 30 of
Treacy’s hats were worn at the Royal Wedding in 2011 in London.
He has been awarded the title of British Accessory Designer of the Year at the
British Fashion Awards five times.
